Ted Williams was arrested on Monday night after an altercation at a Los Angeles hotel with his daughter. Ted Williams made headlines recently as the “Man With The Golden Voice”, a homeless man who was given a second chance after his voice proved perfect for radio announcements.
Ted Williams is speaking out on his arrest and says that his 29-year old daughter, Janey, hit him after confronting her about threatening to sell his story to the press, telling the public that he “drinks a bottle of vodka every night and hits her.”
Williams told ET, “I wanted to bring it to a close by just saying, ‘Shut the hell up and let me talk to your mother.’ When that was said out of my mouth, my daughter exploded — fists got a flyin’ — none of which were mine.”
