the largest chain of drug stores in the country, said Tuesday that negotiations with express scripts, pharmacy Manager, were broken. As a result, the chain said it was not going to continue to offer its pharmacies in script abuse network in 2012. “While we have tried to negotiate a contract extension, in the past few months these talks failed,” said Greg Wasson, CEO of Walgreens in a statement, announcing the decision. “Conditions of express scripts proposed, would make sense good deal for the strategic direction of the company to continue our relationship with them.” Read more
