South Asian governments have begun to evacuate people stranded in Libya, as unrest in the country intensifies.

Indian authorities have organized two years ago to bring about 500 of some 18,000 indigenous people in Libya.
Hundreds of Nepali workers were evacuated. Sri Lankan workers are leaving the country via Jordan.
