Robert Wilhelm Bunsen Pioneering in the field of organic chemistry and spectroscopy, but he is famous for laboratory gas burner with its name. Bunsen was an exceptional and popular high school teacher, experimenter, who rose to fame in 1830 with experiments using organic compounds of arsenic.
