Endymion captain Ed Muniz said he is confident his superkrewe can parade in mid-town, as planned on Saturday, despite the prediction of threat that requires a 90 percent chance of rain.
As a backup plan, Muniz put the city on record that he can apply for a permit to ride in his Bacchus parade route on Sunday night Uptown. The city has enough police to man the streets in Mid-City and Uptown at the time, Muniz said.
