Leon Russell Show

Maybe not a household name – and probably the fact, border on criminal – Leon Russell playing in Tulsa clubs still in the mid teens, when ‘n’ roll rock he was born. By the early ’20s was a member of the band’s studio in St. LA Wrecking Crew, with and without Phil Spector. Leon played with The Byrds, Mamas and Papas, Beach Boys, Sonny and Cher and many others. As an arranger, who shaped the sound of this timeless singles as Ike and Tina Turner River Deep, Mountain High, A Taste of honey by Herb Alpert and the Byrds’ Tambourine Man formed.
