King’s speech is set to be released in the U.S. in the swearing-free version to show that the younger audience, its director, Tom Hooper confirmed.
The film was an R-rating in the last year on the scene, supported by Colin Firth in the character of the speech, vowing to overcome a stutter.
The day before the Oscars, Hooper said the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) has been prepared to immerse the film PG-13 rating, though the sound was swearing.
R-rating in the U.S. means that no one under 17 is able to see the movie without adults.
“I’m sure is very unfortunate that children are discouraged from seeing. I think this is a film that touches on many issues relating to childhood,” Hooper told the Independent Film Awards in Santa Monica, California on Saturday.
“Mainly, the film has a message” Please bear childhood trauma during their adult life. ” ”
