(AP) – Rep. Christopher Lee of New York resigned from his post Wednesday after House news, the married congressman was a woman meet on Craigslist.
“It was a great honor to the people of Western New York to serve,” Lee said a statement on its website. “I regret that my actions harm my family, my colleagues and my constituents. I deeply and sincerely apologize to all. I made a mistake and deep, I promise to work as hard as I ask forgiveness.”
